7 Days Tanzania Classic Safari (Midrange)
Embark on a week-long adventure through Tanzania’s most iconic national parks, combining wildlife-rich game drives with comfortable midrange accommodations. Your journey begins and ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), with seamless transfers in a private 4x4 safari vehicle. Expert guides will lead you through diverse ecosystems, while well-appointed lodges and tented camps ensure restful nights after exhilarating days in the bush.
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be warmly greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha (approx. 1-hour drive). Settle into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening with a briefing about your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint.
Spot lions, leopards, and migratory wildebeests (seasonal) along the Tarangire River. Later, head to your midrange lodge or tented camp near the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Early breakfast before driving toward the legendary Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at a Maasai village (optional visit) before descending into the Serengeti plains.
Afternoon game drive en route to your camp, with chances to see cheetahs, hyenas, and the Great Migration (season-dependent). Sunset game viewing before checking in.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Exploration
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems. Morning and afternoon game drives will take you to prime wildlife areas like the Seronera Valley or Moru Kopjes.
Enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site, watching animals at nearby waterholes. Optional visit to the Serengeti Visitor Center for insights into conservation efforts.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Sunrise game drive as you exit the Serengeti, with last chances to spot elusive leopards or cheetahs. Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Olduvai Gorge (optional museum visit).
Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in time for sunset. Enjoy panoramic views and prepare for tomorrow’s crater descent.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive – Return to Arusha
Descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day game drive. This natural amphitheater teems with lions, rhinos, flamingos, and hippos.
Picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending and driving back to Arusha. Farewell dinner at your lodge.

Day 7: Departure from Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight (or extend to Zanzibar). Bid farewell to Tanzania with unforgettable safari memories.
