Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with morning pickup from your Arusha town hotel or Arusha Airport. After meeting your guide and fellow travelers, we depart for Tarangire National Park.
Known as the "Elephant Playground," Tarangire hosts large herds year-round. Enjoy full day game drives among ancient baobabs, spotting lions, zebras, and numerous bird species. Picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Tarangire River.
As the sun sets, we exit the park and drive to our accommodation near Lake Manyara - either a comfortable campsite or lodge depending on your chosen option. Dinner and overnight with sounds of the African bush.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Safari
Early breakfast before ascending the Ngorongoro highlands. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at dawn when wildlife is most active. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers incredible wildlife density in its volcanic caldera.
Full day of crater exploration with picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok picnic site. Spot the Big Five including endangered black rhino, plus hippos, flamingos, and abundant predators. The crater's open plains make for exceptional game viewing and photography.
In late afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to our Lake Manyara area accommodation. Relax and share stories of the day's sightings over dinner before another restful night.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Return to Arusha
After breakfast, we explore Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse habitats. Morning game drives reveal buffalo herds, giraffes, and hundreds of bird species in this compact but wildlife-rich park.
Watch for the famous lions lounging in acacia trees and large troops of baboons along the lakeshore. The alkaline lake attracts thousands of flamingos during wet season, creating a pink-hued spectacle.
After lunch at a park viewpoint, we begin our return to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or airport, concluding your memorable 3-day northern circuit safari.
