3-Day Group Joining Safari: Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping

Travel with a small group (max 6 per vehicle) in a shared 4x4 safari jeep, with pick-up and drop-off in Arusha town. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow travelers, expert guidance from professional drivers, and the thrill of sleeping in the midst of Africa's most iconic wilderness areas.

Camping in Serengeti National Park

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

06:00 AM - Early pick-up from your Arusha hotel. Meet your guide and fellow travelers over breakfast before departing for the Serengeti (approx. 6-hour drive including stops).

Enter the park through Naabi Hill Gate for your first game drive. The endless plains reveal:

  • The Great Migration herds (seasonal)
  • Big cats lounging in the kopjes
  • Elephant families at watering holes

Arrive at Seronera Public Campsite by sunset. Assist with camp setup (optional) before enjoying a hot bush dinner prepared by our camp crew. Fall asleep to the sounds of hyenas whooping and lions roaring in the distance.

Day 2: Full Day Serengeti Exploration - Transfer to Ngorongoro

06:30 AM - Sunrise game drive when predators are most active. Search for leopards in riverine trees and cheetahs scanning the plains.

Return to camp for brunch, then continue game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum (optional, small fee applies) to learn about human evolution.

Arrive at Simba Public Campsite on the crater rim by dusk. Enjoy panoramic views as the crew prepares dinner. Temperatures drop significantly at this altitude - warm clothing recommended.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater - Return to Arusha

06:00 AM - Descend into the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive in this natural wonder:

  • Highest density of lions in Africa
  • Endangered black rhinos
  • Flamingo-filled Lake Magadi

Picnic lunch at the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls. Drive back to Arusha, arriving by 5:00 PM for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
